For the domain owner (lessor) they may be forced to reduce the valuation of their domain in order to be able to lease it once more, and therefore the value of the lease and the income they could expect from it could be significantly lower during the next tenancy.

Once you agree to your preferred Leasing Plan, and payment is made, your lease becomes active. The Buyout Clause can be evoked at anytime during your lease, from the moment your lease becomes active, up until thirty (30) days prior to its expiration.

The cost of the buyout is calculated largely by the term of your lease, and details of the total buyout cost will be specified in your Lease Agreement.

If your lease of a domain has expired and you would like to renew it, you must bear in mind that the domain owner may reject another term of lease, or decide to increase the value of the lease. The domain owners obligations to the lessee is only during The Active Lease Period.
